Learn More from Aion Assassin Guide
Aion Assassin Guide is proved to be very useful to help those who wish to learn more advanced technique, strategies and tactics for the Assassin. This Aion Assassin Guide is a nice entry-level guide to get a head start in understanding the class.
Apart from that Assassin Guide, there are also other useful guides such as the strategy guide, the Aion Kinah-making Guide and guides for the other classes. The Assassin is a specialized subclass available to the Scout archetype. Assassins are mysterious characters whose strength is based in stealth and agile movement. They are the stealth DPS class of Aion, and specialize in being able to attack while being undetected by enemies. They have impressive DPS and can strike from the shadows, but are exceptionally vulnerable if they are discovered before being able to unleash their attacks. The Assassin has very low defense, but also has the ability to stealth and a high evasion skill. They specialize in melee DPS, whereas the other subclass in the Scout archetype is about ranged combat. Assassins can cause huge amounts of damage in a short period of time, using their cloaking ability to avoid detection and position themselves for their rear attacks. In groups, the Assassins play the major DPS role, but they should be careful that their high damage and rear positioning are not pulling either aggression off of the tank or pulling extra enemies from nearby areas. Also, if the party does not have a Ranger, Assassins can use their bows and limited ranged attacks to pull enemies for the tank. Assassins also possess a number of stuns, which can be used to protect other party members from loose monsters or to temporarily incapacitate opponents in both PvE and PvP combat. Swords, bows, and daggers are available for the Assassin to use, and they also have the duel wield ability. Daggers are much harder for the character to hit enemies with, but they have a high attack speed and a high critical success rate. Swords are the opposite, which makes them generally more favorable for solo gameplay, especially since low level characters have a very low crit chance and that negates much of the benefits . Bows, of course, are for ranged damage, but they are not used as often because it is much better for the Assassins to take advantage of the various bonuses that their cloaking ability gives them. Other than cloaking, two defining skills of the Assassin subclass are their poisons and the ability to use Pattern Engraving. Poisons are applied to weapons and have various effects, just as is common in other games and mediums. Pattern Engraving, however, is a new take on building combo points and causing extra damage. Striking an enemy and carving a pattern onto them both makes them easier to hit and substantially increases the damage that the Assassin can do to them. Another huge bonus to this class is that they can use the Cloaking skill while airborne, protecting them from attack from both flying monsters and other players. They also are able to receive class buffs to flying speed, accuracy, and other stats to help them perform well in aerial combat. Assassins wear the lighter forms of armor, so they have a low defense rating and take a lot of damage, and more than one enemy can make fairly quick work of them. This class is also unable to heal themselves other than with bandages and potions, so they need to carry a sizable amount of healing items and cannot keep themselves up for long once they are being attacked. Join Assassins with thisAion Assassin Guide, and it is always fun to be able to play a character with high, flashy numbers on the damage meters.
